10 Haziran'da Trend Micro Kıdemli Tehdit Analisti Rik Ferguson İstanbul'daydı! Rik'le Taksim'deki Filicori Cafe'de bir araya geldik ve Rik katılımcılara global tehditlerden, yeraltı ekonomisinden, virüslerden, hackerlardan, kısacası bizi paranoyak hale getirecek birçok konudan bahsetti :) Yine de bu veri ve bilgileri bu konuda gerçek bir uzmandan dinlemek oldukça keyifli ve ilgi çekiciydi. *Bu arada öğrendik ki Rik aynı zamanda bir "rock star"mış! Ben dinledim, şahsen beğendim... Şarkılarına nereden mi ulaşacaksınız? Eee, bunu da siz bulun artık ;)
MPN Presents Rik Ferguson! :)On Wednesday, Trend Micro Senior Threat Analyst Rik Ferguson was in Istanbul! We met Rik at the Filicori Cafe in Taksim and learned a lot about global threats, underground economy, viruses, hackers, malware, conficker and many more that made us a little bit more paranoid about security :) Anyway, we really enjoyed the chance to listen to him and learned about these extremely important matters from a real expert on these subjects.
*By the way we also learned that Rik is a rock star! I've listened to some of his songs and they sound good to me... How can you find his songs? That's all your business, do it yourself ;)

It really was a pleasure for me to finally meet the hard-working ladies from Marjinal, especially considering I had no idea before whether they were guys or girls(I’m not an expert on Turkish names).
The event was fantastic, and all the people from the press were really friendly and interested in what I had to say (well that’s what they told me anyway :) ).
As you can see from the photos, Marjinal had also arranged for some top quality models to be the hosts on the day, next time I’m just hoping they take me out for the evening as well.
